What is Mobile Check Deposit?
Mobile Check Deposit from Interfaith Federal Credit Union lets you deposit checks anywhere and anytime you like. It’s the fastest, easiest way to get checks into your account.
How does it work?
Once you've downloaded Interfaith FCU Mobile, simply launch it on your phone and select "Deposit." It will instruct you through the steps:
Properly endorse the back of check with your full legal signature and your IFCU member account number
Write “for mobile deposit only” on the back of the check OR when available, check the box for mobile deposit
Take a picture of the front and back sides of the check (images must be clear, in-focus, non-distorted)
Choose the account you want to receive the deposit
Enter the amount
After confirming the details, tap "Submit." That's all there is to it, you’ll become proficient with this tool in no time!
Why is it a better way to deposit checks?
Mobile Check Deposit saves you the trip to a Interfaith Federal Credit Union Branch or CO-OP Shared Branch. If you have been mailing deposits this saves you the postage as well as the delay of postal delivery. Mobile deposits go into your account quickly and securely, which lets you cross one more thing off your ever-growing to-do list.

Additional Tips for Successful Mobile Deposit:
Check images must be clear, in-focus, and non-distorted. The app provides the opportunity to retake the image.
Any check made out to multiple account owners must be signed by both owners.
Checks front must be dated.
Members with Interfaith FCU branded debit and credit cards may add these cards to the Digital Wallet on your device. Interfaith FCU supports the following devices: IOS, Android, and Samsung.
Primary Advantages of using IFCU Digital Wallet instead of your physical IFCU debit or credit card:
Save Time – Faster checkout in person and online. Simply hold your phone over the payment terminal and verify the purchase. Many online merchants now take digital wallet for payment, eliminating the need to type in your card number when shopping online from your smartphone.
Added Security – Your full card number is not displayed anywhere in your mobile wallet. Your transactions are covered by the same security and privacy protections as your physical cards. Digital wallets use advance encryption of your payment information. Your actual card number is not transmitted when you pay, a random payment code is utilized for each transaction that cannot be used again. When shopping online it reduces the number of websites where your card number is stored.
